KENTUCKY APPEAL ALLEGATIONS IN DOMAIN ISSUE MADE PUBLIC
The state of Kentucky’s made and appeal against to an appeal which entered a new phase on April, and the Supreme Court of Kentucky accepted the brief. Also The Bluegrass state also awaiting a decision from the Appeal court of Kentucky and it has overturned the permit given by the lower court in respect of international gambling domain name.
The interactive media entertainment & the gaming association obtained a successful appeal against the seizure order and now they have to submit response briefs to the Kentucky Supreme Court before June 1st ‘2009.
The reason for these appeals and other activity is that some of these casino gambling sites not adhere to the standards. That means some times the youngsters & students also had participated in these gambling in secret way.
So as a result of this situation, the revenue of the gambling will be cutting down in to its legislated formats. So that means there will be some kind of international standard will be there for the gambling sites and the unregulated sites will disappear. According to the statics which considered here, they have identified more than 2,500 unregulated gambling sites including horse racing, poker, betting exchange and much more.
Also they have noted that the party gaming co-founder has settled $ 300 million to U.S government in 2008, December.
Anyhow the Supreme Court foe Kentucky has to analyze all the points given by the two parties and make a final decision by the 1st June 2009. And the both parties has to stay calm till the court order released and they are keep working on their brief as they needs to be submitted before 1st June 2009.
